Irish Chef Alan Fisher breaks Nigerian Hilda Baci’s cookathon Guinness World Record. Alan Fisher, an Irish chef who owns a restaurant in Japan, recently made history by achieving two Guinness World Records in the world of cooking marathons.
In his first record-breaking endeavor, Fisher cooked continuously for an astounding 119 hours and 57 minutes, setting a new record for the “longest cooking marathon (individual).” This remarkable feat surpassed the previous record, held by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, by over 24 hours.
Following this incredible achievement, Fisher then took on the challenge of the “longest baking marathon (individual)” and managed to establish a new record by baking for 47 hours and 21 minutes. The previous record was held by Wendy Sandner from the United States, who had baked for 31 hours and 16 minutes.
