
Kingmakers put two kings in Ogbomoso
Kingmakers put two monarch in Ogbomoso. Kingmakers in Isapa and Ijeru towns in Ogbomoso South local government area have chosen new traditional rulers for the two towns.
On Tuesday morning, they crowned the Onisapa of Isapa, Oba Olajide Ezekiel Bolarin, and the Onijeru of Ijeru, Oba Ayinla Lawal, in separate ceremonies.
The Onisapa was crowned at the Isapa royal compound, while the Onijeru was crowned at Idi-Isin.
Oba Olajide Ezekiel Bolarin used to live in Abuja but returned home to serve as a ward counselor and later became the town’s king. Oba Ayinla Lawal recently retired from his position in the Ogbomoso South local government area.
