Ngozi Ezeonu, a seasoned Nollywood actress, has refuted rumors that she has passed away.
The actress declared herself to be “alive and healthy” in a video posted to her Instagram page.
She was responding to rumors circulating on social media that she had passed away
She claims that the candle-themed post she made earlier was a memorial to a friend she recently lost.
“I shared a picture of myself on a half-burned candle after losing a really close friend, and now everyone is thinking that I passed away.
“It is incorrect. Please accept me as healthy and living.
When in doubt, in journalism, you just leave things out. You don’t post if you can’t convince the person to at least corroborate the story.
Please, don’t do it. Don’t give it another go. Why would someone want to harm one another in the new year simply to get others to join them?
