Tinubu tells APC governors that Nigerians have no excuse to be impoverished.

Tinubu instructed the APC governors to create and carry out policies that put the interests of all Nigerians first and to put the country’s needs ahead of their own preferences.

At the Presidential Villa in Abuja, he made this statement while welcoming governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and requesting that they create and carry out policies that put the interests of all Nigerians above their party affiliations.

“We have no reason to be poor. Looking back on where we are coming from, where we have been, why we are confronting infrastructural ruin, a lack of quality and complete education, as well as a shortage of health facilities. The President was quoted in a statement by his media assistant, Ajuri Ngelale, saying, “We are not a cursed country, but blessed.”

One of the nation’s greatest problems, he said the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), is division. However, he added, the governing party has to ensure that there is a shared national vision and devote resources and efforts to nation-building in order to work toward mending and unifying the nation

According to the President, development programs will only find full relevance in people’s lives when there is inclusivity, ownership, and sustainability.

According to Tinubu, Nigeria is too endowed with natural, human, and material resources to be experiencing a shortage of first-rate infrastructure, top-notch educational opportunities, and top-notch medical facilities.

“You have the power to change others. You can persuade them to support you,” he said.

He requested the governors to devise a plan that would make the school feeding program more comprehensive and effective throughout all of the federation’s states, taking into account the unique characteristics of each community while aiming to enrol every kid in school.

Our school-age children are not enrolled in school. Engaging all governors in the school-feeding program—including the opposition governors—is the best way to advance education. Please give it your full attention.

“The kids shouldn’t be treated like statistics. Their return to the classroom should be our yardstick for success. Economic growth ought to be measured in terms of empowerment and value. A committee should be formed to investigate the procedures. “I’m willing to contribute to school lunches,” declared the President.

The President stated that the school feeding program will stimulate increased investments in agriculture, specifically in dairy and cattle production. He also mentioned that Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the APC Chairman and former governor of Kano State, had already worked on a plan
