
Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the Labor Party, has been taken into custody in Benin City.
Tijani Momoh, the zone’s police public relations officer, verified the arrest due to charges of attempted murder, gun possession, and acting in a way that would jeopardize public order.
The Police PRO also verified that Kelly Ogbaloi, the party’s state chairman, and a few other party members had been taken into custody.
