Kenneth Gbagi, a former industrialist and minister of education, passed away at the age of 62.

In the most recent Delta State election, Gbagi ran as the Social Democratic Party’s candidate for governor.

It was stated that on Saturday, May 4, 2024, he passed away.

His family issued a statement confirming this.

“It is with profound sadness but gratitude to God that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, husband, and brother,” the statement said, signed by Chief Emuoboh Gbagi, his eldest son.

On May 4, 2024, at the age of 62, Olorogun Kenneth Omemavwa Gbagi, a former minister of education, passed away.
