Why I moved to the US and became a Christian – Adewale Ayuba, the master of Fuji

Famous Fujian musician Adewale Ayuba gave an explanation of his immigration to America and his conversion to Christianity.

Ayuba discussed his faith, his music career, and his new life in the United States with Teju Babyface.

He disclosed that during a three-month summer tour in 1995, he and a bandmate went to America.
Ayuba claimed that threats from the late military dictator Sani Abacha prevented them from leaving Nigeria after their performance.

After releasing an album advocating for the release of political prisoners, including the late Moshood Abiola, the singer claimed he was intimidated.

According to Ayuba, he traveled to Nigeria to perform at the 1998 Benson and Hedges Concert after Abacha passed away.

The performer stated:

“In 1995, I traveled to America with my entire band to play a summer show and other events. After spending almost three months in America, we left and went back to Nigeria.
