The demonstration, which is slated to take place from August 1 to 10, has not stopped inciting anxiety and evoking conflicting responses from Nigerians.

Following the 153rd meeting of the National Working Committee, Senator Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of the All Progressives (APC), told reporters that the ruling party and the President have joined forces to urge protest organizers to postpone their plans and have faith that the Federal Government will take care of the majority of the country’s economic problems.

In order to prevent their children from falling under the incorrect legal radar, Basiru also asked Nigerians to keep an eye on their whereabouts
