Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name “Portable,” was declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command on Monday for his role in a violent attack on government officers performing their legitimate duty.
Omolola Odutola, the spokeswoman for the state police command, provided media with this information in a statement on Monday
While conducting an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota, on February 5, 2025, at approximately 1000 hours, three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office—TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi—came across an elderly man at Odogwu Bar in the vicinity. Portable’s father was later identified as the individual, according to Odutola.
He purposefully disregarded several official invitations to appear at the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, without explanation or legal counsel.
The Ogun State Police Command has a legitimate court order designating him wanted after his repeated evasion.
The public is urged to help the police by giving them any important information that could result in his quick arrest. Anyone caught harboring or assisting the criminal will be prosecuted.
